Restaurant work experience participants can apply for local placements through the McDonald’s Early Careers Website. They'll be asked to complete a short online application, then, if successful, proceed to a short interview.

Yes – simply head to our Teachers page to download all resources. Some resources involve small group activities but can easily be adapted for home education. We recommend teaching all the content, which can be delivered individually and in no particular order for flexibility.

Yes - the restaurant work experience programme has been developed for inclusivity, but every restaurant is different, and some may not be able to accommodate specific needs due to health and safety requirements. Please contact your local restaurant before applying to discuss support for additional needs and accessibility.

Nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of our staff and the young people entrusted to us on work experience placements. McDonald's has robust policies and regular staff training to ensure everyone's safety in our restaurants. All work experience participants receive Health and Safety training and a Participant Booklet explaining how to keep safe and raise any concerns with confidence.
